Letter to Prime Minister Rudd
|
Dear Prime Minister, Congratulations on your win. It is encouraging that Australians have voted for a change in direction and for a brighter future than we might have expected under John Howard. We support your stated priorities of dealing with climate change, water shortages, health and education, small business and food prices in a socially inclusive way. Unfortunately, Howard and Lennon’s truncated ‘approval’ process for a pulp mill in Tasmania is contrary to every one of those priorities. |
