A Better Australia
We are concerned Australians who have become disenchanted with the ability of our political system, and our politicians, to usefully define a future for us all.
|
Old methods |
New methods |
|---|---|
| Regulation and bureaucratic checking of citizens | Provide services that produce desired outcomes |
| Policy developed around party dogma | Policy based on evidence |
| Citizens participate at voting times | Many opportunities for citizens to participate |
| Government seen as representing the 'Crown' | Government seen as representing the community |
| Adversarial methods that produce 'winners' and 'losers' | Collaborative methods that advantage everyone |
| Party based decision making | Community based decision making |
| Central command and control | Local decisions from multiple perspectives |
| Intolerance of different viewpoints | Understanding of different viewpoints |
We use modern systems principles and practices to appreciate situations from multiple perspectives.
It is our belief that we must co-operate and collaborate with each other, bearing in mind our unique differences, to find ways to survive and prosper in a world that is under extreme resource pressures from over-population by humans.
